Formatting: Personal Statement DRAFT #1

Personal Statement Draft for at least ONE of the UC prompts is due Thursday in class, typed, printed and ready for peer feedback.  If you have answered both of them, print out what you have and see how others may “read” from your statement! 

You can send this assignment to:  literacy.justice@yahoo.com in case you need assistance with print.  Please come before school (students in Periods 1, 2) or at lunch (students in Period 5) to attend to printing matters. 

Formatting Guidelines

• Single spaced
• Times or Arial 12 pt. font
• 1 inch margins
• 500-650 words (not including title/prompt)

TITLE HEADING

• Re-type the prompt you are answering so those offering feedback will “know” which prompt you are responding to.  This title section will not apply towards your actual word count.
